Women’s imaging developer Hologic and Del Global Technologies, the Valhalla, NY-based parent company of Del Medical Systems, have signed a licensing agreement for the production of DR general radiography systems previously developed, manufactured, and marketed by Hologic.
Under the terms of the agreement, Del Medical Systems will manufacture DR systems based on technology provided by Hologic. Hologic will also license the use of its Epex, Epex ER, DR1000C, Omniflex, and Radex trademarks. Del will utilize Hologic’s DirectRay detector in the integrated systems, Hologic said.
The firm will support Del in the transfer of manufacturing from its Bedford, MA, facility to Del’s facility in Chicago, and will also provide ongoing service support functions in collaboration with Del.
