Bone densitometry developer CompuMed reported a slight increase in revenues as well as a reduction in its net loss for its first fiscal quarter of 2004.
The Los Angeles-based company reported revenues of $460,000 for the period (end-December 31, 2003) compared with revenues of $452,000 for the same period the previous year. Net loss for the quarter was $61,000, a reduction of 60% compared with a net loss of $147,000 for the same quarter of fiscal 2003.
The firm said that although revenues in its electrocardiogram product line were down, its OsteoGram sales rose by 314%, with much of this business coming from Asia, where CompuMed has focused its distribution-related efforts over the past year.
