Agfa HealthCare of Greenville, SC, will show for the first time DX-S-i, a new flagship computed radiography system, as well as new CR systems for specialized applications, at this year's RSNA conference.
The introduction of DX-S-i follows last year's DX-S debut. The product family is intended to enable facilities to transition between CR and DR, and the systems combine Agfa's DirectriX and Scanhead technologies for improved image quality, dose reduction, and high throughput.
Agfa's new compact tabletop CR 30-X system is an affordable solution for lower-volume or decentralized applications moving from analog to digital imaging, according to the company. CR 30-X is a single-slot digitizer with high throughput. It scans at a spatial resolution of 10 pixels/mm.
CR 30-X is ideal for decentralized general radiography such as for intensive care units and emergency rooms, as well as military field hospitals and orthopedics, dental, chiropractic, and veterinary use. It is available with NX, Agfa's image identification and quality control tool.
