Canon of Irvine, CA, will feature its digital radiography panels based on amorphous silicon technology, including the CXDI-50C panel for portable imaging applications and the recently introduced Canon CXDI-40EC premium DR panel.
The CXDI-50C panel features a 14 x 17-inch image area with the LANMIT 7 (large-area new-MIS sensor and TFT) detector technology, and delivers images with minimal x-ray exposure, according to the company. The panel was introduced in April 2006.
Canon will also display other DR sensors integrated to a wide range of radiography systems manufactured by its OEM partners. The company's first portable DR panel, CXDI-50G, has been integrated with a number of portable x-ray systems, such as the AMX-4 DR upgrade, RadPro 40kW mobile, and the RadPro 4kW portable.
Canon will also show a field-deployable DR system integrated with the CXDI-50G panel, and the RadPro Overhead Tube integrated with Canon's full-size CXDI-40EG detector.
In addition, Canon will showcase the latest version of its DR Image Viewer software. The software moves routine quality assurance and image manipulation away from the CXDI DR system to maximize the efficiency of DR systems, according to the company.
