Through its DirectriX needle-based detector technology, DX-S offers x-ray patient dose reduction, according to Agfa. Also highlighted in Agfa's booth will be its CR30-X, a compact desktop CR unit; CR35-X, a reader designed for decentralized CR environments; and CR85-X, a multi-use reader with a 10-cassette buffer that reduces waiting times and supports at least three x-ray rooms.
All Agfa readers offer the company's NX touch-screen interface user station, a radiologic technologist's image identification and quality control tool, and integration with PACS, RIS, and HIS. Agfa's automated digital x-ray image processing software, Musica, will also be highlighted for the company's CR line.
