2007 10 22 15 12 00 706(Booth 7130) Toshiba America Medical Systems will showcase its T.Rad-Plus Digital and Kalare DR systems at this year's RSNA meeting. T.Rad-Plus Digital includes a universal C-arm design; Kalare is a radiography/fluoroscopy (R/F) system that includes a portable digital radiography (DR) panel.

Also in the Tustin, CA, vendor's booth will be a work-in-progress low-contrast imaging feature for the company's Infinix systems, which will allow for soft-tissue imaging in the angiography suite. The feature will be available in December.

Finally, Toshiba will highlight its biplane x-ray system, Infinix VF-i/BP, which includes a multiaxis, floor-mounted positioner for head-to-toe and fingertip-to-fingertip imaging without having to pan or pivot the imaging table, the company said. Infinix VF-i/BP also includes a ceiling-suspended omega C-arm for simpler biplane positioning.
