(Booth 3665) Radiology equipment vendor Quantum Medical Imaging of Ronkonkoma, NY, will unveil Q-Rad Digital, the next generation of radiographic systems, in its RSNA booth.
Q-Rad Digital systems feature a variety of detectors, including fixed, portable wired, and portable wireless, as well as Quantum's Smart-System technology, large patient weight capacity, Fail Safe electromagnetic braking systems, and Easy Glide hand controls.
The company also will showcase an enhanced QV-9000 digital universal radiographic system that features motorized positioning of the C-arm, which maintains constant alignment between the x-ray tube and the image receptor regardless of the C-arm tilt position or image receptor angle.
Also on display will be Quantum's new DiRex-SP radiographic system, an expansion on the original DiRex Quantum developed with Agfa HealthCare. DiRex-SP integrates Agfa's CR 30 system and Quantum's radiographic system and features the company's TechVision option, which allows the technologist to modify exposure parameters and preview images from tube-side. It is available ceiling-mounted, floor-mounted, and as Quantum's Universal system.
Quantum also plans to highlight a number of new cassette holders. QR-LCH, a rolling lateral cassette holder, is designed to accommodate Canon, Trixell, and Varian portable digital radiography panels, as well as computed radiography (CR) and film cassettes. The holder works with imaging plates up to 14 x 17 inches, Quantum said.
The company also will display a mobile cart holder, a wall-mounting bracket holder, and its Verti-Q wall-stand holder, all of which are designed to be used with Quantum-Agfa CR systems, using Agfa's full leg/full spine (FLFS) CR cassettes and stitching software.
