In its final financial quarter including the operations of Del Medical Imaging, Del Medical Systems Group reported a 17% dip in revenue due to lower international sales.
For the 2010 first fiscal quarter (end-October 31), the Roselle, IL-based firm had net sales of $9.5 million, down from $11.5 million a year ago. The company had operating income of $200,000, down from operating income of $800,000 in the first quarter of fiscal 2009.
Del sold its Del Medical Imaging business last month. In relation to the sale, Del reported a discontinued operations loss of $3.1 million, including an asset write-down of $1.8 million.
