Fujifilm Medical Systems USA has released its FDR Go portable digital radiography (DR) system in the U.S.
FDR Go features Fuji DR technologies such as irradiated side sampling (ISS) and dynamic visualization (DV), according to the vendor. ISS detector design provides enhanced sharpness and increased dose efficiency compared to conventional designs, while DV processing dynamically extends image detail and contrast recognition, Fuji said.
The system offers the same speed, image quality, and dose benefits of Fuji's FDR D-Evo detectors with added portability features such as a compact size; a quiet, smooth drive system; a large touchscreen display; and image preview times as short as two seconds, according to the firm.
Fuji said it has also incorporated tube head inching controls and its SpeedLink automated menu mapping tool for reducing radiation dose.
