Canadian x-ray technology developer Mireye and medical generator manufacturer Powersite have teamed up to launch a high-frequency x-ray generator that can plug into a regular 110-volt socket.
The 32-kilowatt generator will be used initially with Mireye's AVet40 veterinary digital x-ray system. The companies said they also plan to add a similar 40-kilowatt generator for use with Mireye's upcoming chiropractic imaging system later this year.
