Merit Medical to make $550M shares available for private sale

Disposable products developer Merit Medical Systems plans to make $550 million of convertible senior notes available for private sale.

The notes will come due in 2029, the company said. It also plans to give purchasers of the notes the option to buy an additional $82.5 million aggregate principal amount of the notes during a 13-day period that will begin when the shares are first offered.
