Guerbet has signed a deal to sell its urological imaging systems business to Del Medical, according to an undisclosed deal announced July 23.

The Liebel-Flarsheim urological imaging systems business, which was acquired by Guerbet in 2015 from Mallinckrodt as part of its purchase of Mallinckrodt's contrast media and delivery systems unit, features the Hydra Vision urology digital imaging product line.

As a result of the acquisition, these offerings will no longer be manufactured by Cincinnati, OH-based Liebel-Flarsheim, but instead by Del Medical in its Bloomingdale, IL, facility, Guerbet noted.

The transaction includes a transition period to ensure the successful transfer of assets and technology, manufacturing know-how, and the customer base to Del Medical, and is subject to customary closing conditions, Guerbet added. No other terms were disclosed.
