Paris-based AZmed said its AZtrauma and AZchest x-ray AI applications are now available on RapidAI's Rapid Enterprise Platform.
AZtrauma detects fractures, joint effusions, and dislocations on musculoskeletal x-rays in adults and in children ages two years old and older. AZchest flags five findings on frontal chest x-rays: lung nodules, consolidation, pneumothorax, pleural effusion, and increased cardiothoracic ratio. It also provides triage and notification for pneumothorax and pleural effusion. Both applications are cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Radiologists get access to the AZmed results in Rapid Navigator Pro, while emergency physicians and orthopedic teams can see the findings in the Rapid Mobile App, AZmed said. Health systems can add and manage the applications alongside RapidAI’s own tools through a single IT deployment. The applications join more than 50 RapidAI-developed and third-party algorithms on the platform, AZmed noted.
