Interventional firm C.R. Bard has selected group president Timothy Ring to succeed William Longfeld as chairman and CEO, effective August 8. Ring, who most recently had responsibility for the Murray Hill, NJ-based firm's global vascular and specialty access businesses, joined Bard in 1992.
In other appointments, Bard has named group president John Weiland as president and COO. Weiland has been responsible for the firm's global surgical, urological, and endoscopic technology businesses. His new position will also take effect August 8.
