Probe developer Neoprobe has begun shipping demonstration units of its Quantix/OR blood-flow measurement product to distributors in Europe and Asia. Slated to be the flagship product in Neoprobe's blood-flow measurement product line, Quantix/OR can measure flow volume in a variety of clinical settings, according to the Dublin, OH-based vendor. A broad commercial launch in Europe and Asia is expected in a few months, and a 510(k) application is pending with the Food and Drug Administration, Neoprobe said.
