Bard begins building new distribution site

Interventional device developer C.R. Bard has broken ground on a new 411,000-square-foot international distribution center in Covington, GA. The new facility, scheduled to open by the first quarter of 2004, will distribute 90% of the Murray Hill, NJ-based vendor's product line.
