Suros names senior executives

Interventional technology developer Suros Surgical Systems has named two senior executives to its management team.

The Indianapolis-based firm has appointed Kent Smith as vice president of sales and marketing. Smith is a former president and CEO of healthcare biotechnology start-up Cytomedix. Also joining Suros is Relevant Technologies founding partner Jeffrey Hanthorn, who will serve as vice president of human resources and administration.
