GE HealthCare unveiled Allia Celeo, a ceiling-mounted image-guided system for cardiology and interventional radiology, November 1 at the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics 2026 conference in San Diego.

Features of the system include the following:

  • An extra-wide-bore C-arm on a ceiling gantry with integrated cabling, designed to reach steep angulations, including in patients with a high body mass index (BMI).

  • An on-screen digital twin to help with gantry and table positioning.

  • An AI-enabled image chain that automatically adjusts acquisition parameters to balance image quality and radiation dose across 2D and 3D imaging, according to the company.

  • InnovaBreeze, which uses automated table and gantry movement to image the full lower-limb anatomy in a single acquisition.

Allia Celeo works with GE HealthCare’s coronary, structural heart, and interventional oncology applications, including StentViz, Valve Assist 2, Embo Assist AI, and the Mac-Lab hemodynamic system, the company said. It also integrates with compatible third-party intravascular imaging and physiology systems, according to the firm. It is the second Allia system introduced in less than a year, following the floor-mounted Allia Moveo.

Allia Celeo is CE marked. It is pending clearance with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and is not available for sale in the U.S., GE HealthCare noted.
