Molecular imaging developer Gamma Medica announced that Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia has committed to purchasing its LumaGem molecular breast imaging (MBI) system.
The system will be installed at the Marion-Louise Saltzman Women's Center at the medical center and will be the first clinical LumaGem MBI system in Pennsylvania.
Molecular breast imaging is a secondary screening and diagnostic tool useful for women who have dense breast tissue and women with a high risk of breast cancer.
