NAS shows sales uptick

Radiopharmaceutical developer North American Scientific reported first-quarter sales of $5.1 million, up 4% from the $4.9 million posted in the first quarter of 2002. For the period (end-January 31), the Chatsworth, CA-based vendor posted a net loss of $716,000, compared with net income of $126,000 reported in the same period last year.
