Siemens puts its PET/CT on the road

Medical Outsourcing Services (MOS) of Naperville, IL, has launched a mobile imaging service in Illinois and neighboring states with a combination PET/CT system. The service is the result of collaboration between MOS and multimodality vendor Siemens Medical Solutions of Malvern, PA, which has placed its biograph lutetium oxyorthosilicate (LSO) PET/CT scanner in the traveling unit. In addition to its home base in Illinois, the MOS mobile biograph LSO PET/CT scanner will be making weekly stops in Indiana, Iowa, and Wisconsin.
