Solid-state gamma camera developer Digirad has released Cardius-1, a single-head gamma camera dedicated to cardiac imaging. Cardius-1 consists of a solid-state gamma camera, a portable acquisition/processing station, and an upright imaging chair, and can be upgraded to a dual-head system, according to the San Diego-based vendor.
Cardius-1 can fit into a 7 x 8-foot space, according to the firm. Digirad expects to ship its first Cardius-1 system this month.
