Amersham re-ups with Novation

Amersham Health has received a new contract from group purchasing organization Novation. Buckinghamshire, U.K.-based Amersham will provide its nuclear medicine radiopharmaceuticals and related products from January 1, 2004 to December 31, 2006. Amersham had been providing these products under a Novation agreement that began January 1, 1999.

The firm will also supply products to healthcare organizations that purchase supplies through HealthCare Purchasing Partners International. VHA and University HealthSystem Consortium own both Novation and HealthCare Purchasing Partners International.
