Radiotherapy provider Nucletron and Canadian radioisotope developer MDS Nordion have partnered in international markets, according to the firms.
Nucletron of Veenendaal, the Netherlands, has named Kanata, ON-based Nordion as its select distributor for TheraPlan Plus in combination with Nordion's TheraTron line of external-beam therapy systems.
The Microsoft Windows-based TheraPlan Plus provides a suite of tools that enables TheraTron users to conduct both image-based and non-image-based treatment planning. In addition, the application permits aperture-defined field shapes and supports physical and motorized wedges, Nucletron said.
