Molecular Insight adds chief medical officer

Radioisotope imaging developer Molecular Insight Pharmaceuticals has tapped Dr. Nicholas Borys as chief medical officer. Borys joins the Cambridge, MA-based firm with 16 years of experience in pharmaceutical development, including stints with Bracco Diagnostics and Amersham Healthcare (now GE Healthcare Bio-Sciences).

With Molecular Insight, Borys will oversee the clinical development and new drug application (NDA) submission of BMIPP, the firm's lead molecular imaging candidate. He will also oversee the clinical development programs for the company's pipeline of molecular imaging and targeted radiotherapeutic candidates, according to Molecular Insight.
