Dr. Martin Sandler has been elected to the leadership of the Society of Nuclear Medicine.
Sandler, who is chairman of the department of radiology and radiological sciences at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, will initially serve as vice president-elect through June 2005. He will then serve as president-elect through June 2006, and then president of the Reston, VA-based society from June 2006 through June 2007.
