Radioisotope manufacturer International Isotopes has secured new contracts for the production and recycling of various cobalt-60 radiation sources.
The announcement coincides with Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) approval of the company's licensing for cobalt production and processing operations, the Idaho Falls, ID-based firm said.
Sales related to its new cobalt products and services are expected to begin in the third quarter of 2004, International Isotopes said.
