PET services provider Shared PET Imaging has received Food and Drug Administration 510(k) marketing clearance for its ClarityPET software, according to the Canton, OH-based firm.
The application produces orthogonal views and a 3D maximum intensity projection of a PET study in a variety of interfaces, the vendor said. In addition to its ClarityPET offering, the firm has developed ClarityFusion, a DICOM-compliant multimodality fusion software package that allows clinicians to compare PET studies with CT, MRI, and other modalities.
