Nuclear medicine vendor Digirad reported first-quarter revenue of $19 million, up 5.5% compared with the $18 million booked in the first quarter of 2005. For the period (end-March 31), the Poway, CA-based firm had a net loss of $2.8 million, compared with a net loss of $981,000 last year.
The first quarter met or exceeded the firm's goals for virtually every financial and operational category in both its product business and DIS mobile imaging services unit, said CEO Mark Casner.
