Fluke Biomedical will display its PET/SPECT performance phantom at the 2006 RSNA conference in Chicago this month.

2006 11 14 11 56 44 706Fluke said the phantom measures resolution, linearity, and uniformity of PET and SPECT imaging systems. In addition, the phantom can provide both hot and cold simulated lesions, according to the Cleveland-based company.

The target market for the product is imaging facilities that provide oncologic or cardiac PET and SPECT imaging services. The PET/SPECT phantom is available now worldwide, and pricing is dependent on configuration of the device, the firm said.
