Firms combine to launch cardiac gamma camera

Clinical information systems developer Aventyn of Carlsbad, CA, has partnered with Swedish medical device developer Adolesco to sell Cardiotom, a mobile tomographic gamma camera.

Cardiotom was developed by Adolesco, and uses Aventyn's CLIP clinical information software. The system can be moved to a patient's bedside, with image acquisition taking about two minutes.
