Siemens installs first HD-PET system

Siemens Medical Solutions has completed the first clinical installation of a PET scanner based on its High-Definition PET (HD-PET) technology.

University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas received the Biograph 40 TruePoint PET-CT scanner with HD-PET technology, according to the Malvern, PA-based firm.
