NMPI contemplates sale

Mobile imaging firm Nuclear Medicine Professionals (NMPI) reported record revenues for its first quarter 2008, the Gainesville, FL-based firm said, leading its managing partners to consider plans for the sale of the company.

NMPI revenues increased by 34% compared to the same period last year, which the company attributed to the addition of new accounts and strict management of its expenses. NMPI currently operates in north and central Florida.

The company's owners said they are considering selling their interests to give NMPI a chance to grow into a national firm. They said they plan to begin interviewing brokers this month.
