Nuclear medicine firm Digirad of Poway, CA, has signed an agreement with the University of Chicago Medical Center to provide cardiac diagnostic services to Chicago-area physicians and patients.
Digirad will offer equipment and personnel to physicians' offices to perform imaging procedures through its mobile imaging services division, Digirad Imaging Solutions.
Patient images will be interpreted by medical center physicians, with the results sent electronically to referring physicians.
