Alliance Medical buys Tomovation

Imaging services provider Alliance Medical of Warwickshire, U.K., is expanding its presence in the German market with its acquisition of Tomovation of Castrop-Rauxel, Germany.

Tomovation provides services and products for the CT, MRI, and PET markets and invests in early-stage European medical technologies. Alliance Medical and Tomovation currently operate from neighboring facilities in Castrop-Rauxel, and now will share equipment, personnel, real estate, and technologies.

Alliance Medical also has operations in Ireland, Italy, Spain, Poland, and the Netherlands.
