Siemens gets FDA OK for IQ-SPECT

Siemens Healthcare of Malvern, PA, has received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for IQ-SPECT.

The newest Symbia feature is designed to enable comprehensive cardiac evaluation that includes perfusion, attenuation correction, and calcium scoring in five minutes.

IQ-SPECT is commercially available on all Symbia S and Symbia T systems and can be installed as an upgrade on existing systems.
