Canadian medical imaging and PACS software developer Cedara Software has signed an agreement to provide medical imaging technologies and related support services to medical device developer Philips Medical Systems of Andover, MA. The technology is scheduled to be used in Philips MR systems, according to Cedara.
Toronto based Cedara has valued the agreement at a minimum of $4.2 million, Canadian ($3.1 million, U.S.) in its current fiscal year. There is the potential for some follow-on business at Philips’ option, Cedara said.
