MRI components provider Intermagnetics General has signed a deal to distribute all W. L. Gore and Associates-branded flexible MRI surface coils.
Under terms of the agreement, the Latham, NY-based vendor's wholly owned subsidiaries, Invivo MDE and Medical Advances, will distribute the coils.
Among the MRI surface coils to be distributed are Gore's four-channel cardiovascular arrays and eight-channel multipurpose torso arrays. Both coils are compatible with GE Healthcare's Signa 1.5-tesla phased-array systems on both Excite and non-Excite scanner platforms, according to Elkton, MD-based Gore.
