Philips Medical Systems of Andover, MA, reported that it has installed its 3-tesla Intera 3.0T MR system at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City.
Montefiore is using the scanner for head, neck, and spine imaging, as well as musculoskeletal and cardiovascular applications, Philips said. The system will also be used for researching functional MRI (fMRI), and will also perform whole-body MR exams, according to the firm.
