Fonar sells first Stand-Up MRI in Puerto Rico

MRI vendor Fonar has sold its first Stand-Up MRI scanner in Puerto Rico.

The Melville, NY, company said it sold the 0.6-tesla system to Open MRI, an imaging center in San Juan. Open MRI is a previous Fonar customer, having bought a Quad 7000 scanner in 1997.
