Siemens Medical Solutions has signed a two-year research collaboration agreement with The Heart Center of Indiana (THCI) in Indianapolis. The deal will allow THCI to utilize the Malvern, PA-based vendor's MRI technologies to discover new uses for MRI in cardiac care, according to Siemens.
THCI will work with Siemens as a development site in cardiac MRI, assisting to develop new software and testing imaging sequences and clinical protocols. Siemens and THCI also plan to launch an educational Web site for cardiovascular MRI by 2005.
