This developer of breast MRI scanners will shine the spotlight on advancements to its Aurora 1.5-tesla dedicated breast MRI system.

Aurora now features Ultra RODEO Plus, a proprietary fat and normal ductal tissue suppression technique. The company will also highlight its new spiral acquisition technology, which provides simultaneous acquisition of data for high temporal and spatial resolution.

An integrated breast biopsy capability that takes advantage of Aurora's 64-cm magnet aperture will also be featured. And look for the company to tout its DICOM-compatible CAD software and advanced visualization techniques such as orthogonal and oblique views of lesions for multiplanar reformations (MPRs), 2D and 3D maximum intensity projections (MIPs), and surface-rendering views.
