AHRA, Toshiba offer grant program

Toshiba America Medical Systems and the American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA) association have created a Patient First grant program.

The program is funded by an unrestricted educational grant from Toshiba of Tustin, CA, and will provide grants to hospitals to create programs, training, and/or seminars to improve patient care and safety in CT, MR, ultrasound, x-ray, and vascular imaging. It also aims to develop best imaging practices to share with other hospitals, according to the AHRA and Toshiba.

Three Patient First grants of $7,500 will be awarded. Eligible hospitals can apply by completing an application at Web sites of either the AHRA (here) or Toshiba (here) by November 15.
