Image analysis software developer Perspectum said that its LiverMultiScan multiparametric MRI software will be included in the UT Southwestern Medical Center's Dallas Heart & Minds Study (DHMS).
DHMS, which initially aimed to focus on the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of heart disease, has expanded over the years to encompass metabolic diseases such as fatty liver disease, according to Perspectum. LiverMultiScan will be used in the study to measure chronic liver disease, with the goal of gaining a better understanding of the interactions between genetics, environment, and lifestyle on liver health, the company said.
