Mentor to distribute Best brachytherapy seeds

Prostate brachytherapy provider Mentor has signed a nonexclusive distribution agreement with Best Medical of Springfield, VA. Santa Barbara, CA-based Mentor will distribute Best's palladium-103 brachytherapy seeds for prostate cancer treatment. Best currently manufactures iridium-192 sources for cardiology applications for Cordis, and also manufactures and directly distributes Pd-103, I-125, Ir-192, Au-198, and other isotopes for the brachytherapy market.
