Siemens Medical Solutions of Malvern, PA, and radiotherapy and information systems developer Nucletron B.V. of Veenendaal, Netherlands, have signed an agreement to offer Nucletron’s Simulix simulators to Siemens’ oncology customers. The worldwide deal follows on the heels of last year’s launch of the Coherence Dosimetrist CT-based simulation solution from Siemens. The addition of the radiotherapy simulation planning product from Nucletron will enable the firm to offer a more complete solution package, according to Ajit Singh, Ph.D., president of Siemens Oncology Care.
