Radiation oncology and interventional cardiology firm Implant Sciences has initiated a direct marketing and sales program to sell its I-Plant brachytherapy seeds for use in the treatment of prostate cancer, according to the Wakefield, MA-based company.
In conjunction with the direct sales program, the developer has entered into an agreement with Med-Tec, its current distributor of the I-Plant product. Med-Tec has agreed to transition its customers and marketing materials for a payment of approximately $39,000 per month over the next 29 months, beginning in September, Implant Sciences said.
