Radiation therapy firms North American Scientific and Nomos have formed an agency agreement.
The deal will allow NAS and Nomos to sell each other’s radiation therapy products prior to the Chatsworth, CA-based firm’s proposed acquisition of Nomos, which is expected to close in the second quarter of 2004.
Nomos of Cranberry Township, PA, will immediately begin selling NAS’ Prospera I-125 and Pd-103 brachytherapy sources, while NAS will offer Nomos’ suite of intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and image-guided radiation therapy technologies, according to the companies.
