Elekta, NAS team up

Swedish radiation oncology firm Elekta has inked a worldwide distribution agreement with North American Scientific.

The agreement allows Stockholm-based Elekta to begin offering ultrasound targeting technology with its linear accelerator platforms. Elekta will include the Chatsworth, CA-based firm's BAT SXi image-guided ultrasound technology in its products.
