Oncology device firm RITA Medical Systems of Mountain View, CA, has made several changes to its executive lineup following its merger with Horizon Medical Products. Chief technology officer Darrin Uecker will assume all operations responsibilities for the firm, replacing Robert Wenzel, who has left to pursue other opportunities.
In other appointments, Trent Reutiman has been tapped as vice president of sales and marketing. During his tenure at Rita, Reutiman has been responsible for the firm's U.S. sales staff; his new position adds responsibility for the company's U.S. marketing functions.
